The Point of Perspective

Artlink Show 2022, Fort Dunree, Co. Donegal

Aisling was delighted to be a part of the “Point of Perspective” Show at Artlink, Fort Dunree. The exhibition was a story about the lightness of being through the multifaceted lens of the human experience. The exhibition flows from the sheer awesomeness of the cliffs and seaside landscape, into gallery 1, through the glass hallway (or sacred passageway) and into gallery 2, where the energy and presence of works uplift the curiosity of the viewer to gaze back out into the landscape in a new way.

The exhibition was curated by Lindsay Merlihan, Board member at 126 Gallery, Galway. The artists were encouraged, through the process of art making, to reach the highest point of perspective, allowing the process to take them on a journey, elevating them to a place of revelation.

See Me

Sasse Museum, Los Angeles

Aisling was selected to take part in the See Me juried digital catalogue and exhibition, which brought forward images of works from artists across the United States and Europe. The artists represented explored ideas of both what it means to be exposed and controlling what is put forward to be seen.

These artworks present reflections on personal identity through manifestations of physical, psychological, spiritual, metaphors and narratives. The catalogue represents a spectrum of art making in various forms, mediums, and dimensions as wide ranging as the notion of self.
